PRIORITY LIST
⚠️ 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐓? As a wedding supplier, if you've worked with us there is a chance you've heard us mention the PRIORITY LIST.
𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐓? Since launching the business it has become apparent that many supplier categories and venues are in high demand which leaves us with an issue. Here at Promise Wedding Fayres we want to be as fair to our suppliers as possible and give everyone a chance at exhibiting. It's also important for us that we are providing a variety of suppliers between our fayres for the couples attending.
In order to do this we create PRIORITY LISTS.
𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐓? If you have enquiried/applied for a space and are unable to secure a spot at the wedding fayre of your choice, you will be placed on the reserve list (in the case of any cancellations) and on the PRIORITY LIST for the next available fayre at that venue or the equivalent fayre in the next series.
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐓 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧? Prior to launching each of our Wedding Fayre series, we go to our PRIORITY LIST to give those on the list first refusal of a spot at the next fayre. Those on the list are contacted in order of when they were added to the list.
𝐃𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐓 𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐦𝐞 𝐚 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐚𝐲𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬? In short, no. In the case of the highest-demand categories (e.g. Photography) we have numerous businesses on the PRIORITY list. After the last launch we had 12 Photographers on the list for one fayre! We have a system in place to contact those in order of when they were added and will only move onto the next person on the list (for the same category) when the business refuses the offer or does not reply within the timescale.
𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐈 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐟 𝐈'𝐦 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐓? If you are not successful in gaining a spot you will be informed at the time that you've been added to a list. If there is any other business in front of you on the list you will also be informed of this too.
𝐈'𝐦 𝐚 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝/𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞, 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐈 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐲𝐫𝐞𝐬? The simple answer is to apply for the fayres as soon as they are launched. If we are launching at 8pm on a Wednesday evening, you need to be in a position to apply at 8pm. All applications are stored on a digital form including the date/time stamp when it was submitted. There has been occasions where suppliers have missed getting a space by seconds space.
And finally, we'd like to add that whilst the introduction of the PRIORITY LIST can be frustrating to some, we have done this to ensure we are being as fair as possible to the suppliers that are interested in our events. This process does add extra work for us. Thankfully we've had a lot of great feedback about the system and we will continue to run it, and tweak where necessary in the future to adapt to the needs of the business,
